A great storm comes in. Jesus walks on the water. Peter walks on the water. Peter starts to sink. Jesus rescues Peter. Following Jesus isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to challenge you to the point where you continually realize how much you need Him. Pastor Dan wrote this song years ago and it always blesses me to hear it. We are all on a journey, stepping out in faith, failing, and being rescued by Jesus.
Background
Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. NKJVEph 1:15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power NKJV
Lyrics
All the roads I've travelled on
and all the places I've been,
never have I met anyone
Such a faithful friend.
You found me when I'd fallen down
and took me by the hand,
helped me find my way back home,
You're the Great I Am.
Generations come and go,
people live and die,
always ever right before
Your loving caring eyes.
For you are Him who is and was
and evermore shall be.
Eternity is where you exist.
You are the King of Kings.
As you travel on your road,
know He's always there,
See His footsteps in the sand.
His voice is in the air.
He is calling out to you.
Weary child come home.
Ever calling out to you;
for He is yours alone.
He'll find you though you've fallen down
and take you by the hand;
help you find your way back home;
He's the Great I Am.
He's the Kind of Kings.
He's the Great I Am.

Final Thoughts
The bible story of Peter and Jesus walking on the water can be found in Matthew 14:22-33. I highly recommend it as something to meditate on. That's my bucket of grace for today. Leave yours in the comments below.
